I have a stand up piano that has not been tuned in over 5 years. He was extremely thorough and took him about 3 hours the first time. My piano sounds INCREDIBLE now — and people coming over to the house have noticed the change in quality of the sound as well! Austin charges you a fair price for his work and does such a fantastic job. Highly highly recommend!!!

“Over the past two years, we have had the pleasure of working with Austin’s Piano Service to repair and tune our pianos at the Memorial West United Presbyterian Church in Newark, NJ.  Austin King is a piano technician who treats each instrument as a tender patient in need of his care. From basic tuning to extensive restoration, Mr. King always seems to have the right antidote for whatever ails the instrument.

Four times a year, we present our Flatted Fifth Jazz Vespers Series, where we present many great jazz keyboard artists, like Norm Simmons and Freddy Cole. We always call on Mr. King to tune and prepare the piano for them on the day of the event. Frequently, we are complimented by the artists for the quality and tone of the instrument they played.
