Craftsmanship Matters
Many piano technicians work on your piano to the barest minimum of work needed, skipping quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Many of the repairs happen on the inside of the piano where no one can see them, so why take the extra time to ensure symmetry and consistency?
Simple, in addition to getting the piano to work it is important that the repairs are neat, tidy and aesthetically pleasing to the eye and that they match the original working parts. A repair that is returns the piano as closely as possible to it’s original factory state will gaurantee the repair last longer and is more resistant than a repair that was quickly and shoddily performed. Craftsmanship is a true sign of professionalism.
